About Me

I have been in the beauty industry for six years. After I had my make up done at the age of 17, I knew this was a passion of mine. I have had the honor of working with brides, Nascar reporters, social media creators, mamas to be, talented industry professionals, and so many more through my artistry. I hope to share my love of glam with every one of my clients. Attitude and perspective make all the difference.

FAQs

How long does make-up application take?

Normally, I work within 45 minutes to an hour on one face. On wedding days, it is very important that we stick to schedule so that the bride, bridal party and anyone else having makeup applied are ready for the photographer. Make sure your venue allows an early enough start time, and if not, make other arrangements for getting ready!

Do I need a spray tan?

Spray tan is definitely personal preference. However, if you plan to have one on wedding day, you should also plan on having one for your bridal trial. This will give you a better idea of your vision for wedding day!

How far in advance should I schedule my trial?

Trials normally take place around 3-4 months in advance of wedding date, especially if doing traditional bridal portraits. Communicate with your artist and set up your trial ahead of time as most artists cannot accommodate trials over the weekends due to other wedding commitments. Trials are the perfect opportunity to tweak your look for wedding day! Don’t be afraid to let your artist know what you want and what you like! We are here to serve you.

What should I know before going into a makeup session?

It is important for your artist to know of any skin sensitivities or what type of skin you have. Does it get oily? Is it dry or flaky? Did you spray tan your face? These are all important things your artist should know that contribute to the longevity of makeup. If we know nothing, and go in blindly, it does no good for us or for the client! Bring inspiration photos, and if you do not like certain things about make up, let them know! If you love certain things about make up, also let them know so they can incorporate these into your desired look.

Pricing

  • $100

  • My bridal packages range from $300-$350. This package price includes 2-3 make up applications.

Within the lesson, I will do one side of the face on a model and the other artist will do the other side. These lessons normally take 2 hours, and we use a mix of my own kit and the other artist’s kit.

Non makeup artist lessons consist of doing the make up in front of a mirror on a client. I do one side and the client does the other with full access to my kit.

  • I list my pricing on my website for full transparency to my clients.

When paying for makeup, you are paying for product, expertise, time, taxes, sanitation, and so much more.

On wedding days, you are paying for a professional to remove the stress of getting ready from your day. We transport our entire studio to be on location for your wedding day, along with expertise, sanitation, continued education, taxes, our time, keeping a makeup kit stocked, etc. It is so much more than a makeup application.

I say all of this to show that if it is not within budget, that is completely understandable, however, this is our livelihood. I truly believe you get what you pay for within this industry!
